Nah, it's not a "test". It's more a comparison of emotions etc.

Reventon has as much emotion as one of those soft porn flicks that pretends to have a story line.

I actually once thought the Reventon's interior was cool, but next to Zonda's purposeful but classic interior you realize it is nothing but a cheap and tacky gimmick.

Yupp. It's an easy way for Lamborghini to gauge the collectors and their most loyal customers. Take a LP640, give it a funky exterior and sell it for 4 times the money. Say that you're only going to manufacture 20 on them and two month later screw the early adopters but issuing an allocation of 80 additional cars.

Yup, pretty much like the MC12, but they didn't sell it for 4 times the money.

Ive always been iffy onthe Zonda's interior. too much imo. the Reventon has the coolest interior. the best colour combo, and its simple.

the exteriors are both unique and more importantly, DIFFERENT. there is no one car trying to rip off the other.

as for speed, the Zonda if likely faster. but the LP640/Reventon is fast enough.

the revenue on the Lamborghini would be about 20 million dollars more than if they were LP640s. I dont reckon the profits are as much as people think they are.

according to a rennteam member who is in the plastics industry, the mold for the headlight cover alone would be a 500K investment. and then there is the new bumber, front and rear. the new side "skirts". the new doors, new engine cover, new hood, new tail pipe, new headlights, new tail lights, new air openings, new gas tank cover, new rims and the CF inserts etc. then there is windtunnel testing that needs to be done and the gauge clusters. all this takes a lot of money, and if the headlight covers alone are a 500ish K investment, then im doubting whether or not lambo are making that much profit on the Reventon.
