I would choose the Turbo!!

No matter how much power the ZR1 has, I don't think it's gonna beat, for example, the Skyline GTR or 911 Turbo on the track. So much torque on the rear axle won't help it get around a corner faster compared to any of the other competitors. Anyway, my vote goes to the 911 Turbo because of the extra power it has compared to the R8. Both are great cars though.

If you think that GM just gave the Z06 more power and called it the ZR1, then you haven't been paying attention. Their racing division tweaked almost everything about the car. What you just said is like saying that the M3 csl can't be faster because it has more hp. It's not just about the power, the suspension is tweaked, it's lighter, and other things.

The Z06 has already scared most automakers sh!tless, now I can't wait to find out what this ZR1 does.

I think the Z06 has already proved to be faster the the 911 turbo around most tracks (including the Ring and Hockenheim in the super tests). No doubt, the ZR1 will beat the Turbo. Question is if it will beat GT2 (will most probably will) or even the Carrera GT.

I guess I was wrong about the ZR1! Still,will the ZR1 be faster in the wet against the GTR and Turbo?

An extra 120hp doesnt quarantee anything. I would not be able to put money on either and neither should you imo.

but surely GM has done more modifications with teh car than just adding 120hp.

the Z06 is already extremely fast. The things they would have to do to it to make it faster than the GT2 would be crazy. Plus the ZR1 weighs more also.

Im not saying it could not do it, im saying no one here is capable of saying.

As for the guy who thinks the ZR1 wont be faster than the GTR round the track go get your coat. The car is overrated and not as fast as nissan want you to believe.

You'd have better luck trying to convince Jeremy Clarkson that mini clubman is beautiful than convince this guy that anything besides what he thinks is right.
