I still think the TT should be compared to Z4. The 1er has an advantage in comfort and interior space due to the fact it's a different type of car.

But the TT should have had an advantage in performance being a sports car but it doesn't - by a big margin. 135 beats the TT in a straight line, around the track, on the slalom, in breaking and heck even fuel consumption and it costs less. Talk about superior technology.

Re: AutoZeitung: Audi TT 3.2 Q vs BMW 135i Coupe

My question is: If they had compared TT 2.0 TFSI to 120i which car would had won?

95% of the TT and the 1 series coupe sold will be with the smaller engines and there Audi has the clear advantage.

I've personally driven both those cars you mention and in my book 120i Hatchback is a winner becuase the 120i is cheaper, more practical and having better comfort
I wouldnt even consider either a TT or 1er, two completly different cars and they are aiming for a different crowd.
Its either Z4 or TT becuase they are both unpractical and roadsters, or its a 120i or a Golf.

Re: AutoZeitung: Audi TT 3.2 Q vs BMW 135i Coupe

havent anyone noticed that they meassured the TT 0-100km/h in 5.3 seconds. I have never seen such good time before, not even Z4 3.0is is that fast. I think around 6.0 seconds are more common for this TT.
Is it a typo or is TT 3.2 really that fast?
