I think, that this isn't a very big problem... :

1. Porsche GT2: brutal thrust of the turbo and consequent equipement for racing - the expensive GT2 is stamp to the exclusive pacemaker on the street and the race track

2. Mercedes CLK 63 AMG Black Series: The CLK has no chance to overtake the GT2, nevertheless the combination of the high-reving V8 and the perfect setting stands up

3. Corvette Z06: inspirational power and sporty handling for an extraordinary price: No one can beat the Z06 with this argument

i really dont like the looks of the GT2.. it dissappoints me..
so CLK for me..
i hate to be chosing the lesser car.. just cause porsche couldnt make the GT2 hot looking enough...

the Z06 probably has a weaker launch than the GT2 because of its engine layout and tires, but from a roll, they should be pretty equal (looking at 100-200 times).

Money and availability no object I'd take the GT2, but here in the US, dealers are adding $50,000 over MSRP to the GT2- You can get a 2008 Z06 today no waiting for $65-68,000. Plus I have no problem beating the hell out of a Z06 on a track, but I wouldn't want to subject a GT2 to that kind of abuse unless someone else owned it.

The GT2 is faster than Z06 0-130, tied 0-140, ahead 0-160, then Z06 is faster to 180, but GT2 is faster to 200 km/h?

I have driven on the track at the same time as a CLK Black Series and was not impressed- probably was the driver though.
