Re: Sportauto: M5 vs CLS 63 AMG

The CLS AMG is much more elegant than the M5 and almost as fast as the BMW, so the I prefer the Merc.

Re: Sportauto: M5 vs CLS 63 AMG

^yeah me to.. but the M5 is one of my fav BMW´s so the choice is not easy..
and it is clearly the superior performer..
but in this segement i dont put to much weight on performance..
and the CLS isnt a snail..hehe

Re: Sportauto: M5 vs CLS 63 AMG

The difference between the Hockenheim times is bigger than I would've guessed.

Probably BMW equipped that M5 press unit with R tyres or/and racing pads, that's something they usually do.

Re: Sportauto: M5 vs CLS 63 AMG

^i guess this is what you get when a BMW and MB has the same ammount of power...
MB´s need alot more power to match BMW´s--

BMW boys will love this ^

Re: Sportauto: M5 vs CLS 63 AMG

The difference really is only visible at over 160 km/h, just as expected.

The M5 has a manual version only for the USA to my knowledge. The tires, I think the CLS had the advantage here as I've seen in tested with P Zero Corsas.

Re: Sportauto: M5 vs CLS 63 AMG

I've driven both E63 and M5 and my personal favorite is the M5.

To me CLS is an ugly car and I have disliked the car from the beginning. E63 look 10 times better than CLS. If it was between CLS and E-class then E for me.

Haha.... funny stuff! If the cars were shod with R-tires I think SA would tell, don't you think? You get a a quarter of a point for the racing pads though. Would have been a full point if you could have expressed yourself properly.

Quit the flame boy stuff and contribute a bit instead.

CLS for me, no doubt about it!
