I go with the 123d!! I think this a an amazing car. And I love diesel... ...nevertheless it is more expensive then the Volkswagen...but who cares about that...

I love the GTI but what BMW has done with the 2.0-liter diesel is beyond amazing! More than 100 hp/l and 200 Nm/l are praiseworthy achievements.

Without doubt I would take the 123d. Awesome engine.

GTI for me please

123d..and not just because it´s BMW.As I can see,only advantage VW haves over BMW is price tag..nothin´ else..God,I never thought I would see 2 litre diesel beating 2 litre turbo petrol engine..amazing

would definitely take the GTi. Cant stomach the looks of the 1er.

1er is a nicer drive than GTI imo. I havent driven 123d but I bet this engine will win engine awards.. My vote goes to 123d with M-package (+ 3dr and Lemansblue )

Oh snap the 123d seem to have a lot of punch, very quick 0-100km/h, I'm a torque addict. Does anyone know the price for the 123d?
