Fantastic time by M3 - already within a sec of CSL and more than a sec faster than RS4. Great time from BS too if you don't factor the price and sucky time if you do.

Standard CLK63 take hockenheim in 1.18,4 min. Its like night and day between a CLK63 and a Black series

Yeah,The CLK63 is soft compared to the M3 but that only in handling,but in performance it'll smoke it easily.

997 CS: 1,14.3
M6: 1,14.4

I doubt its easy. Today its not easy to spank another car when they all are so quick. Its easy when one car disappear from another and CLK63 wont disappear away from he M3. We aren't talking about several seconds in difference.

If you are talking about straight line performance, a M6 which is closer in price to CLK63 than M3, would prove faster.

More numbers from the test:

M3 / CLK
0-200 kph: 15.7s - 14.6s
18m slalom: 69.2 kph - 67.7 kph
Fuel Consumption: 16.3l - 18.4l

its only 1.1 second difference between a M3 and CL63 BS up to 200km/h. A standard CLK63 weigh more and is less powerful so it shouldnt be as fast as a B.S.

CLK stock doesn´t have a chance against BS(ok,maybe if I drive the BS version )..I mean,what is the point then to have BS at all ?
