Sportyness was demanded and is now ordered. Ever a C-class was not so agil, dynamic and handy. To it it comes that them are more expensive with approximately 67700 euro only approximately 1000 euro than the M3, for it however four doors offers.

First impression: This duel of the uppersporty marches slowly into a deadlock - the remainder is matter of taste.

Big up to both cars:

A dead heat between an AMG and M almost never happens. Very impressive result for the C63, and of course, the M3. Can't wait to see more tests.

If this is truly a Tie, then WOW. The C63 must be truly bad ass. I'll still take the M3 though.

I do not think people understand what this means for the C63...
The M3 is maybe one of the finest cars in the world
and to be tied with that.. is not a small thing

Amazing .....well I guess the final decision now really comes down to personal taste and/or brand loyalty.

The aesthetic aspects of these cars becomes a main determining factor .....and on that basis, I would choose the BMW.

Great review on two of the most highly anticipate new cars. I don't see these models as rivals as much as the E92 M3 and the CLK63 AMG but it's nice to know anyway!

Well, well, well.......maybe this C63 is indeed a major departure from all previous C-AMG cars, where preserving some degree of ride comfort resulted in less than stellar comments in terms of driving "feel" on a track.

Maybe this car will finally change the perception from people that AMG cars can only "go in a straight line", (which was never true to begin with).....

Can't wait for some more comparison tests and also proper instrumented tests of the car's handling abilities (like skidpad or slalom times) to see how it objectively compares with the new M3.

Knew this was coming and I'm excited to finally see it. I personally could see the C63 being slightly more fun with the fatter torque figure. If personal preference is what it's all about... well, this is a toughie; I've said before that the C's interior is the nicer place to be and that the M3 is the orignator of the segement... A hard conclusion to come to indeed. I'll have to wait for the E90 M3 sedan to debut before I come to a decision on this one.

I'm wait for the American versions and magazine comparos before celebrating..!
