If the C63's on par with the M3 coupe, would it be wise to assume the CLK63 AMG will one up it?

I don't think it is - it is closer to M6 than M3.

Price has nothing to do with it. The CLK clientele tend to be older and more reserved than the typical C-Class on average. They tend to look for something comfortable and mildly sporty. Those seeking a bit more sport are well suited with the CLK63 AMG. It's not as hardcore as the C63 AMG from what I have read. Against the M3 I don't think it would do to well in the sports department.

Good observation..IMO Black Series is way to go with CLK if owner wants little more of it´s car on track days and curvy roads..Same treatment would be nice for C-class also,do you agree?

Well I can agree on that. The BASE price for the C63 is in fact less than that of the M3 coupe. I was completely surprised by this. Kudos to MB, because that makes the C63 a true alternative to the M3! 'Base' is in capitols because I am sure you can dress up the C63 for 20k euros more than the M3, in the end.
