Its not a head to head test. Its a comparison between both based on the first drives of each car. So, unfortunaly not, its not a head to head test.

The pic posted is just a photoshop. The M3 impressions are from the test in Marbella, Spain. And the test of the C63 was done on Paul Ricard circuit in France.
So calling this a head to head test is wrong. Its just a cheap trick to sell more carmagazines.

Looks like the boys over at AMG really did their homework and listened to customer demands. It was indeed a tie, but even if the C63 AMG looses out to the M3 (which will most likely be because of something like "lack of a manual" etc.), the car has made its point: it's fast, comfortable and it can handle.

By the way, cleaned up the translation a bit.

Kudos to merc, now they Must build AMG with something else than Automatic gearboxes, i am also hugely surprised by the price.

Again, this isnt a head to head comparison. Its a summary of impressions based on the first testdrives for M3 in Spain and C63 in France.
Autozeitung never drove them next to each other or at same place. Its a worthless comparison and not a proper one. There arent even meassured numbers.

Cheap trick from Autozeitung. I cant belive you guys accept this as a head to head test.

There is no real value in this "test",as Just_me said..So,I will wait with my judgement till some proper tests arrive

hell its not a head to head..
but they drove both cars..
many others have driven both at diffrent occasions.. and they also say that the M3 is in for a hard match
and now this mag says its a deadlock
ofcourse a real test will break out the goodies..
but this is as good as it gets at the moment..

The price Kicks ass..

note that you pay extra for leather and metallic paint in the M3
i think thats standard in a C63.. right there the C63 becomes as expensive or less expensive than the M3...

Dont forget RS4, the car gave the new M3 a hell as well, C63 isnt first and not the only one

Dont forget that Coupes are more expenesive than Sedans. 4-door M3 will be cheaper than M3 Coupe.

Its a first for AMG so im happy..

Im sure it will be cheaper.. but still the C63 is priced at a good level..

no doubt but so is the M3 but the RS4 is above both C63 ad M3, must be the first time.

BTW CLK63 is way overpriced compared to the competition, also its an old car. I would never pick one over C63.
