Voted for the car that gave Porsche's engineers sleepless nights in stuttgart,it simply did beat the whole 911 range but the GT2. |

Wow ... tough choice between the R8 and M3  The R8 is a more exclusive car indeed, and more "supercar" than the M3, but i'm so impressed with the M3 handling compared to the R8. If BMW would build a more "supercar" like vehicle ... it would just be awesome  |

Damn, a tough one - If we are talking someone else's money here, I'd choose R8. It has a small advantage in performance and visual flare of a supercar. But if price was a factor, it'd be neigh impossible to justify the R8 when M3 comes so close in performance for almost half the price while being way more practical. |

The M3 on paper doesn't belong to this group, however with the numbers it posted, it is hard to ignore it. Considering how close the performance numbers are, and the price difference between the R8 and the M3, I chose the M3 over the R8. |

I absolutely F__king love the R8. I pushed the sh!t out of it this past Sunday at Infineon raceway, but the thing is that as a daily driver I'd have to choose the M3. The R8 is a weekend driver unless you live in a posh neighberhood where cars like that are parked on the streets. The M3 has the right performance and daily drivability that the R8 and C6 lack. I really do need my rear seats and out of those 3 only the M3 suits my needs. |

R8 It's a car born of powerful ideas The only car of these I've "tested" it's more than a sportscar it is a car with soul it really is.. It's not a RS4 that just rock like the M3.. it's a piece of engineering perfection. Audi nailed it with this machine.. and as I always finish with.. Audi is design masters: JUST LOOK AT IT   M3 It's a 3-serie with sport suspension and big engine - Hot car and it drives like a dream (they said).. but it's the inside that really counts and it is fresh... but not like the R8 not eaven close (bring on the CS concept - then maybe)! C6 American power and RWD - If you want to go fast in a straitline and make burnouts.. sorry not today! I want to make a turn up to my mansion. R8 - You are the winner It's a masterpiece and it can be used all days in the week.  |
