I agree and would consider the base 911 a more fitting competitor. Like I said, it's merely an interesting test.

To say that the GT3 is overall a much more capable car is a stretch. Unless you mean it within the very limited context of a pure sports car comparo which this was not.

Its quite obvious what AMS wanted for this test and its what they always seek in their comparisons.They want the car with best comfort and the one that is easiest to live with day after day and M3 is the obvious choice. If they wanted the best trackcar they would of course rank the GT3 above the M3.
But since thats not what they are seeking for, then the M3 is the natural choice.

Its that easy
