Re: Swedish test: Film: white M3 V8 vs blue RS4

He more or less said that there is no better one..
its about choices..

If you want a TGV train fixed to the rails.. get the RS4
If you want to go sideways and laugh your teeth out get the M3..

PS
give me the M3 please.. i have alot of experience by now with the RS4..and the car is to sure footed.. it frustrates me..

but i must say.. the RS4 looks better..
so i need a rear wheel drived.. good looking car..
hmm what can that be.. hmm

Re: Swedish test: Film: white M3 V8 vs blue RS4

Awsome review!!! I loved it, it's rare to find a Swedish review on the same level as this one.

Nothing new in it and they say the exact things we will here all over again.

RS4 = Very stable car with immense grip, very safe in slippery conditions.

M3 = The car for those who want to have fun tailing and power sliding.

They also found it very amusing that the M3 is 5kg heavier then the RS4 which is a sedan and has AWD, despite the fact that the M3 uses a carbon fiber roof and has an engine 15kg lighter than the one in the RS4.

It is amusing because the M3 is lighter than the RS4.

carjournliasts do make mistakes. As explained before bmw /mb is measured according to EU standard while while Audi is using DIN standard.
EU standard include 68kg driver and luggage which DIN standard doesnt include.

That's what I thought but was unsure. It's not the first time an auto magazine give false information.

This is exactly the main difference between Audi & BMW characters. Therefore a true cross-shopping is almost impossible - due so much different characters.

Audi = stability & calmness, videogame-like glued-to-the-road driving, perfect traction, all-roundness, maturity, restrained design.

BMW = raving & dynamism, engaging driving with sliding, great steering, emphasized sporty nature, playfulness, expressive design.

Just like Andreas said it. The guys in the video are talking about manufacturer figures, and it's a well known fact Audi state weight by DIN standard (w/o driver & cargo), while BMW state weight by EU standard (incl. 68kg driver, and 7kg cargo). Yet I guess not well known enough to reach those two Swedish lads.
