Audi = stability & calmness, videogame-like glued-to-the-road driving, perfect traction, all-roundness, maturity, restrained design.

BMW = raving & dynamism, engaging driving with sliding, great steering, emphasized sporty nature, playfulness, expressive design.

Just like Andreas said it. The guys in the video are talking about manufacturer figures, and it's a well known fact Audi state weight by DIN standard (w/o driver & cargo), while BMW state weight by EU standard (incl. 68kg driver, and 7kg cargo). Yet I guess not well known enough to reach those two Swedish lads.

I believe you meant to put the "expressive design" along with the Audi characteristics!

Since the cars have different characteristics they said that there's no clear winner.

Not really.

I doubt Audi design can be labeled as expressive - especially when directly compared to contemporary BMW design.

Be sure the customers that went from BMW to Audi went there due too expressive BMW design, since they like more restrained one - and Audi is giving them what they wanted.

But when compared to some other brands / cars - then, yes, Audi can be sometimes associated with the word "expressive" when it comes to styling. Especially when it comes to the same latest models eg R8, A5.

Don't quote me on the exact statement, but when EVO took the E92 M3 and the RS4 about town they said the RS4 got most the attention.

That just means the certain people were more attracted to (and pay more attention to) RS4 than to M3, not that RS4 has more expressive design.
Even more - I'm sure they liked RS4 better since iits more restrained & coherent design. While M3 definitely looks more "visually challenging" - like any other BMW, and I'm aware quite some people have problem with such looks.

Re: Swedish test: Film: white M3 V8 vs blue RS4

I just watched the clip and both drivers were mention how good the new M3 sounds and you get the impression they prefer the sound from M3 over the RS4.

Also the verdict was that the M3 is more fun to drive than the RS4. They basically ended the test by saying "If you want to laugh your mouth out every time you drive then your choice is the M3".

No comments on the steering feel.

Hmmm I wouldn't be so sure. They did express how much they love the sound of the RS4 as well.
