![]() ![]() | CL65 vs CL63 Hm, last couple of months I am listening constant debates how Cl63 is better car than 65, however I disagree, I am not mechanic, but as driver its ilogical to claim how cl65 v12 is "too heavy" (whatever that means).....and that 63 has more "life" inside of engine, beside quite big price difference I don't think its right to say that 63 is better car, why the hell is v12 that expensive after all. The CL63 or CL600 are a much better choice. Further more all the AMG 65 models depreciates terribly bad compared with cars in the price range. Just look on Ebay. You can buy a SL65 05 0r 06 for under 100k which is half the price for a new one. |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: CL65 vs CL63 Well, just because the CL65 is more expensive doesn't mean it's a better car than the CL63. Thing is though, the CL65 is a full 155kg heavier than the CL63 and whether it bothers you or not, it's bound to adversly affect the handling characteristics of the vehicle. Furthermore, I don't think it's by anymeans illogical to say the CL63 has a more lively engine. After all, the CL63's engine summons some 630 Newton metres which peak at 5,200 rpm, where as the CL65 is peaking some 1000 Newton Metres starting at 2,000 rpm. The redline of these two vehicles further make this evident - the CL63 is far peakier than the CL65; 7,200 rpm versus 5,950 rpm respectively. Truth be told, these cars may share a similar body, but technically they're actually quite different. I don't anyone needs to be told that the CL65 is an undeniable force in this company. It's a brute; a brute which offers power like few else. Having said that, I'd be willing to give up some of that brute for the CL63 AMG which let's face it, has more than enough power to satisfy most any sane individual. |

The driver would.. but i dont think that diffrence is so large that it justifies the price ![]()
