Re: German Car Fan Vs Brand Fan - 09-03-2007, 07:06 AM

I like German cars, obviously, but I also have an appreciation for Italian, French, British, American, Japanese and Korean cars. My favorite brand is Mercedes-Benz from the German side and Mitsubishi from the Japanese side. Hyundai has recently impressed me a lot.

My new favorite cars are the ones from China! Such creativity and quality!

I started my life with a Suzuki, moved to a Hyundai after which it has been a Golf, Merc A Class, Passat and now the E90. I know which direction this is headed

You probably already know that I'm a big Audi fan, but If I really couldn't purchase an Audi, my next choice would be an Opel (YES, AN OPEL!!!). I really respect that carmaker and wouldn't mind at all to own one of their models, especially an Astra OPC!

If there were no Mercedes-Benz then either Audi or BMW would be the primary choice.

Well I also like other manufs or some of their offerings. But beside BMW, Audi/Porsche would come second.
Love Lambos, but I guess they're part of the family.

I love cars period. However, lately I've been more interested in German brands. Americans seem to be going nowhere, and the Japanese are not making any real breakthroughs. You can guess what there next step is going to be. My favorite brand as of right now is Audi, but I go back and forth with BMW. Mercedes, I know they make good cars, but i've never been really attraced to it. Love VW, over japanese competition, and read alot of info on their bus. decisions.

Easy choise for me. ONLY GERMAN

Now you would say: "And what about that Volvo in your garage?"

The answer is quite simple: If i could afford a BMW i would have a BMW
