And who wins - right: The MONDEO!!

Its a good bargain, AMS think Mondeo has better comfort than C-class and only 1 point worse than C-class in handling, also the car offer better space inside. Intresting Mondeo has higher speed in the slalomcourse.

But the thing is, the Mondeo doesnt look as good as the Benz but sure if you dont care about the badge and you want a cheaper car that can do things just as good as the Benz then you should choose Mondeo.

Despite all this, C-class is my choice

Its about time exluding the falcon and territory that ford made a decent car

have any of you non-australians heard of or seen the ford territory on offer in down under?

I am going to cancel my order of a Mercedes C-Class and buy a Ford Mondeo instead!

In all those tests that they test a german luxury car against a more affordable car of the same size, the second always wins because of the price...

but this wasnt based on price only, the Mondeo did things just as good as the Benz, in fact it beated the Benz in many areas.

That has to be the WORST interior trim ever in the Mondeo, that brown colour is very suggestive, what were they thinking. The brushed metal trim is the way to go.


Good to see the Ford is putting the effort into the Mondeo even though the market for this type of non prestige mid size sedans.

Dont forget that Autocar said the new Mondeo handle better than 3-series. So perhaps we shouldnt underestimate Ford. They seem to have but lot of effort with the development on this car.

But it doesnt change the fact that I still wouldnt buy a Mondeo if I had the money for a BMW or MB.

As good as it is, the Mondeo still is... a Mondeo.
