On paper the Maybach 57S is the best of both worlds and the ultimate choice, or the 62S. They're luxurious like the Bentley or Rolls, but will outperform either of them, but there is nothing special about its design, look, feel etc. Things the British cars excell in. I guess If I were a shopper in this category I'd go for the old world choice, an Arnage T will lots of Mulliner extras.

I also picked the RR but I'm not gonna lie, the facelift Maybach looks ten times better then before!



Everything looks tighter now, I might need to change my vote.

This isn't a Maybach facelift - the pictures shows the 57S!

The Maybach is an absolutely amazing car, the 57S and 62S are magnificent in the truest sense of the world ...but the only problem is, it doesn't really offer much more than a fully-loaded S class ....yet costs considerably more.

It is easy to judge the Rolls-Royce simply on its image in our popular culture ....but the Phantom really is something very special.

It is too often over-looked, what a technical feat the Phantom is -- the massive aluminum body is just about the stiffest in the auto-industry, it is absolutely state-of-the-art in every respect.

The interior design is dramatic and theatrical (something the Maybach unfortunately is not). Luxury at this level of the market has to be about more than just comfort and gadgets, and this is why the Phantom wins overall -- it is not as charmingly old-fashioned as the Bentley Arnage ...nor does it have quite the same "handmade" feel about it, but the Rolls is a true 21st century limousine which has given its intended market everything it wanted ...and more than it anticipated.
