I'm surprised they said the M5 was as good to drive as the RS4 on the tight roads, would have expected it to be worse, considering the extra weight. Also I think BMW should have engineered a proper manual for the M5 as well as the SMG, not a crappy one like they have for NA! The RS4 did very well considering it has less power. I have either, love them both! |

I have never tried SMG or DSG, or anything like that, but personally, especially when changing down, I can't see how anything could beat a manual with a clutch where you can control the amount the clutch is in, and also when going along slowly in traffic! | |
