Re: Bentley Arnage T Vs. Bentley Flying Spur Vs. Maybach 57S

Without the RR, it wouldn't be a clear-cut choice.

I would choose the Arnage for its pure, undisturbed British style. The Flying Spur, although a good car, just doesn't feel like a lot of effort is put into it because it was co-developed with the Phaeton. Feels a lot like 'cost-cutting'.

The Maybach for the city dwellers who want attention.

Hi Mirage77, The Rolls-Royce Phantom isn't there because it is not intended for performance like these three cars

I like the new spur. Its more of a driver's car, not a passenger's and Frankly im a driving enthusiast. Plus it looks good.

Re: Bentley Arnage T Vs. Bentley Flying Spur Vs. Maybach 57S

But that would be like choosing a Mack truck over a Kenworth truck because it's more of a driver's car, er, truck. I suppose it has its merits, but that's not largely the point of these cars.

I'd disregard the marketing and say that these cars are still large, luxurious cars that have plenty of performance but are more or less paying lip service to 'sport'. Not incompetent, but not as sporty as they might like you to think.

That said, I like the 57S the most here - it looks great in black with those silver highlights - but also the Arnage, for its old school appearance and style. IMO the FS is a cheap imitation - a mass market Bentley.

flying spur

the arnage is in between the phase of dated and classic. i liked the traditional lights on that car much better than the FL. and as for the maybach, the interior is nice but the exterior is a big thumbs down.

Arnage T, since there's no RR. Don't care for the MM and FS doesn't look any good, IMO of course.

Re: Bentley Arnage T Vs. Bentley Flying Spur Vs. Maybach 57S

I'm not a big Maybach guy, but the 57S has "something" that makes it look more exciting than the regular Maybach (must be the rims! ). Not too kean on those Bentley designs either. I voted Maybach although I'd never get one.

No contest here IMO. Bentley Arnage T all the way. Can't stand the flying brick or the dumpy butt-Mercedes.
