  | The project leader of the Civic Type R speaks  THE PROJECT LEADER of the new Civic Type R, Toshiya Sakai, says that the car has evolved well past its boyracer stage. “It is no longer just a car for hardcore driving enthusiasts,” he said. “When we set out to develop this car, we wanted it to be a true GT car.
