That's right. The front is common with Jetta and R32 , the rest is the same.

Yeah, no other exterior changes as far as I can tell.

I quite like it, however. I thought I'd hate something with so much chrome on the grille, but seeing a few Jettas now, it actually looks quite good, at least the overall grille design. I'd like to order the little chrome strip that goes across the hatch, though - the rear needs a touch of chrome to balance the grille..

I also hope they make exposed exhausts on cars other than the GT and GTI (and 4Motion models that we don't get). The hidden pipes on the normal Golfs make the car look more puny and bubble-like than it really needs.

Thanks for the pics, Yannis! I'm still considering getting a Golf, so this news might hold me off until the facelift comes, to see, more importantly, what changes they've made other than the exterior.
