| Well, the Golf 6 is actually more like Golf 5.5. So no wonder the Golf 7 is so far in the developing process already. |

| Interestingly, this model strategy appears to be working in favour of the consumer when it comes to resale value. The incremental improvement in Golf 6 (or 5.5 for those more cynical of you) means that Golf 5s have devalued less than would normally be seen in a typical generation jump. Used Golf 5 GTIs are fetching damn good money and have far less of that "the old model" stigma attached. Giannis, I'd buy that Golf 6 in a heartbeat. It's a Golf. It's practically timeless. Unlike Megane, Astra et al. With a Golf you're buying a premium motoring appliance. Not a fashion statement.
