Ugh....you knew I didn't want this model to ever come to be, but there it is.

We're getting a GL320 CDI in Jan 2007 for the U.S. market so I guess sometime next year for the 2008 model year we'll get a GL63 and likely the GL550 also. Only thing is I think MB should offer the V8 diesel here because at 9.2 secs 0-60 the GL320 is slow, something a modern diesel shouldn't be if they want to shake off the "diesels are slow" perception.

I highly doubt this is the GL63.. As far as I know there are currenttly no plans of making on.
I beleive this is the Lorinser GL.. look at the rims

Knowing Mercedes and their desire to endlessly pimp the AMG brand that most likely is a GL63. Oh well.

This is just the launch edition of the GL450 with after market wheels and exhaust. The lauch ed. has the chrome roof rails, running boards and only comes in black.

There wont be a GL63 AMG says AMG:

Confirmation in that article that there will in fact be no C63 as well as no V6 derivative of the M156 (pitty). Thanks for the link, and welcome to the forums.

hmm how did you come to the conclusion that there wont be a C63?
