That's a good q. I wonder what sales are like or full size SUV's in Oz? I imagine people there do get utility out of such a vehicle.

I can't seem them using a lower displacement version of the new V8 just for the C-Class so maybe the 08' SLK AMG model will get this engine too. Maybe a 5.5L or 6.0L version of the new V8?

Anyway I wouldn`t mind seeing a GL63! Thay already pimped the AMG name by giving us the R63.

As much as I love the GL-Class, I think an AMG version is simply pointless. The same applies to the ML, R and G AMG versions.

If I want a performance car, I'll buy a performance car and not a performance SUV.

However, I realize that there is a market out there for these cars, so my personal opinion won't stop Mercedes-Benz from producing this vehicle.
