![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I think the reason the R-Class got such a light facelift is because it just doesn't matter. It won't sell in astonishing numbers no matter how interesting the facelift will make it appear design-wise. The R-Class has turned into a kind of niche vehicle for Mercedes-Benz. It has its advantages and charms and as I've stated before is probably one of the best family-oriented vehicles from Mercedes. It's roomy, comfortable, safe and doesn't suffer tha much from the high center-of-gravity that the GL and ML are burdened with. I've driven the R-Class (R320 CDI 4Matic) and although it isn't my favorite Mercedes it is a damn fine car that is without a doubt very appealing to large families seeking comfort, luxury and a prestige badge. ![]()

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | LEDs just for a special edition? Sounds weird seeing as though all the face-lift Mercedes-Benz models are all getting LEDs.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Well the GL also had the new mirrors and steering wheel of the FL-ML before its own FL. Just like the CL and 09 C-Class are rolling new mirrors, despite not having been FLed. The R gets some LEDs, it's not a FL just a lil' mod.
