| Rolls-Royce reinvented. This is a punch straight into the face of Bentley Motors that also took the route of incorporating soft contours into their designs in order to attract a younger audience. What interest me now is the coupe version of this car which is the what RR should have brought out first. Living outside the London it might be difficult for most of you to grasp the popularity of the Continental GT. The car is absolutely everywhere here in London, it's almost become the VW Golf of upper premium luxury cars. On a normal day around the city you'll easily catch at least 30-50 of them. It's truly astonishing, especially when a new one retails for just under €200,000. Given the success of the Bentley CGT, BMW must sure have contemplated pricing the coupe version of the Ghost at a similar price. Because if they do, they'll have a major winner on their hands here in England where are the motor icons like the Range Rover, Mini and Continental GT are flying off the showroom floors. |
