Looks nice.. the only thing I`m going to have to get used to is that shoulder line... that makes it look a little common place for such a hi-end car.

Now where is that supposed Maybach 53

Funny that so many of us are spotting Conti GTs everywhere in different metro areas across the globe. Los Angeles is no different - The Conti GT has become the Honda Accord of well-heeled buyers. You can't throw a brick on the LA Westside without hitting one.

It's already here. I think they call it the W221

Lol...I know what you mean though. Time for Maybach to wake up and stop giving up 28 versions of the MM62.

Yeah, could be metal. Does it change something? You have a black piece, a chrome piece, and a whole bunch of apparent screws.. (yeah okay. Maybe it's cristal or diamonds and not screws...). In my book it's a fauxpas.

Not that it's unbearable or something, but it's not nice. Apparent screws in such a car is rather shocking to my eyes, and I don't need to touch them to think that.

I like this Rolls-Royce, but where we all these RR fans when the was around. That was a magnificent car. It's like now that BMW owns RR then everyone wants to support it. Rolls-Royce has been building outstanding cars before and after BMW. Please keep that in mind.

Geez ... almost all post WWII Royces were technologically dated ... Never up-to-date tech wise. Until starting to associate with BMW.

Today at least RR cars feature cutting edge tech - mechanics & electronics etc.

For once I have to agree with EnI. Rolls-Royces are so unworthy of their great name before BMW took over. Any top of the line S-Class or even Lexus LS was a better car in so many way. The Rolls had a better looking interior and probably a better ride, but thats it. In every other way a S600 was a vastly superior car.

^^Being up-to-date is so vulgar...

And means you can get outdated, too...

Motor? it was a problem, our engineers solved it. Power? sufficient. Weight? Adequate. Size? Enough to feel like a prince at the back.

No, no, Rolls were out of time. No specifications whatsoever were revealed. The customers were not interested in the technical side of the car. Giving such details as power or number of airbags make a Rolls a car like another, in the past a Rolls was... a Rolls.

But, times are changing... and so is Rolls, in order to survive.

You are absolutely right which is why their "image" never wavered of faultered with the general public nor their most devoted owners. All British cars...Jaguar, Aston-Martin made a bunch of beautiful, outdated, heaps at one point yet they're still some of the most prized brands on earth.

Actually the S600 still is capable of doing battle with a Post BMW Rolls-Royce...

Never that...Rolls Royce never needed all that tech stuff. A Rolls was considered the most luxurious and exclusive car. It didn't have to impress with the use of technology and gizmos like BMW and Mercedes. It's name alone is legendary. Rolls-Royce didn't need BMW help to "make it a star". The technology in the new one is great, but the previous Rolls-Royces were outstanding and IMO they were styled much better.
