Stunning.

It still has some of that 7-Series ill-proportion to it (like the front wheels are pushed too far foward), but overall it looks pretty darn good. Now its Bentley's turn.

You don't like that ?

I don't like the two tone exterior. From the angle of the 2nd picture, the hood looks like it is covered in the white plastic wrap that some cars have when they arrive at the dealerships.

Front's way too soft, side too stretched (wheelbase too long, with too short overhangs for a Rolls), rear window too inclined and too long (not stately enough).

Overall, it looks a bit like a blob. Especially the relations between C-pillar, boot and rear wheel are quite plain.

The mirrors are plain ridiculous.
We can see MB and BMW common purchasing here: they're coming straight from a Mercedes Actros full-size trailing truck... Someone misunderstood the EU regulations here: why making them so narrow but so embarrassingly high?

Gimme a Phantom over this any time. This doesn't look like a Rolls, you can see the BMW 7er through its soft shape and untypical proportions: bonnet not high and long enough, smallish grille, windscreen and rear window too inclined, too short overhangs...

The should've made the design more edgy and less rounded. Looks like the next Geely clone.

Like I've expressed before this car doesn't do much for me in terms of emotions and I feel no RR heritage when I look at it. Just like the Continental Flying Spur it's a German car dressed in a British suit with purpose of exploiting economies of scale. A coupe and convertible are two further models well expected to highlight that BMW are looking into selling a solid number of these, though slightly fewer than the Bentley CGT family in order to be able to pull the "exclusivity card" in discussions and press releases.

I've decided that the new Rolls looks like an audi A4 minus the darkened headlights.
