Bad accident - with a total new car and they were only going 130km/h! I'm completely speechless. What would be happened when they were going more then 200km/h!

Driver losing control on slippery road, crashing into road fence. Despite sever side impact NO AIRBAG HAS DEPLOYED!

PS: case also showing that no AWD & ESP system CAN NOT trick the laws of physics. Some drivers think that AWD & ESP (or any other safety system) are allmighty - overriding & correcting all the driver's bad moves! WRONG!

No, here was completely driver's fault - losing control on slippery road due too high speed (counting too much on quattro & ESP help).

But the problem here was that no airbag (specially the side ones) DID NOT deploy despite severe side impact.

Hmm - this is pretty bad for PR however I think the demand for the car will not really change in the long run once they've fixed the issue properly.

Anyone remember the 'soft' alloys on the S3/last gen RS4?

Which issue? Just because one car had an accident? That means nothing since even the reasons are still unknown. Enilab has became a accident investigator from his PC screen.

If I'm correct, this is the 2nd Q7 crash where airbags have not deployed. This could be real trouble.
