![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | That wannabe Chinese C-Class looks like a total POS. Huge gaps between the sheetmetal, the lights and grille look improperly fitted to the bodywork too. It looks like it will fall apart the moment you leave the showroom. Why is the West being such pansy's when it coms to the Chinese copyright-screwers and Somalian pirates? ![]() I remember seeing a documentary about commercial shipping that runs through the pirate-infested waters around the Somalian coast and they are by international law not allowed to have weapons onboard. Screw international law in this case. This is a question of safety and how I can defend myself if the need arises. I'd say lets pack on some heat and blow these pirate mofos out of the water if they come and want to play. The military vessels from various nations patrolling the seas in that region should not act like total p_ssies and refrain from firing on pirates. On the contrary they should pursue, sink those bastards boats and take some prisoners. We should show some friggin balls and fight back. Just my opinion. God, am I having a bad day or what? ![]()

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Ok I have no idea why the west is so soft on the pirates, but I think I know why the west can't do anything about the Chinese copyright infringement issues. First of all, the Chinese government probably has investment in these companies, so there is no chance they will enforce copyright laws. 2nd of all most of these companies lack moral standards and all they are after are the quick and easy profit. It will take years of public education and some more to correct their ways.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | In theory, perhaps. But in practice it's a bit more complicated than that. China unscrupulously utilizes a combination of capitalism and totalitarianism in a ratio that is most beneficial to its own objectives. Anyway, back to topic... It's interesting they are already using photoshops based on the cars they are going to copy to present their future models... |

![]() | I'm no lawyer, so why would copyright legislation in one country apply to another? Not that I'm ok with the Chinese being totally incapable of producing any original thoughts, but I'm curious. |
