This blonde ran over a mattress on the highway

This blonde ran over a mattress on the highway. She decided not to worry about it and kept driving.

The jumbled mattress finally whipped around enough to tear a hole in the fuel tank. Lack of fuel is what finally brought her vehicle to its knees.

She still managed to drive 30 more miles with a 60-lb. tangle of stuff wrapped around her driveshaft.

She had it towed to her dealership and complained that the vehicle had "Sort of a shimmy" when she was driving at high speeds.

Below are the photos of what they found when inspecting her car at the dealership.

The last photo is the best.

The same thing happened in Sydney 2 months ago, a blonde 31 year old ran over a mattress on the main road and kept driving until her 1/2 day old Mini Cooper S Cabrio caught on fire, and then exploded.

I have two questions, why was there a mattress on the road? and why can't they just avoid it if all other drivers can?

When asked by the first blonde as to how long repairs were going to take, the mechanics' non-committal response was that the car was bed-ridden and would be off for a couple of days. They gave her a sick note stating that the car was quite highly sprung.

In Australia, the incident with the MINI Cooper coincided with the 2009 re-release of "Beds are Burning".

Well here it is guys.

Woman watches as new car gutted by fire
14:00 AEST Sun Jan 11 2009

A woman watched in horror as the new car she bought only hours before burst into flames on a busy Sydney road yesterday.

The 34-year-old Bondi woman ran into trouble when she drove the Mini Cooper over a mattress in Parramatta shortly after 5pm, but continued on not realising something was wrong.

Do you know who owned this car? Tell us here.

She eventually stopped the car after smelling smoke and stepped out to see flames coming from the back wheel.

The fire had engulfed the vehicle by the time police and fire crews arrived at the scene.

The woman escaped unhurt.

The blaze was triggered by the mattress becoming wedged between the engine bay and the wheel, a police spokeswoman said.

Witness Phil Burt said the woman told him she had only bought the car that day and was on her way to her parents' house.

"She was agitated, bewildered and very, very emotional," Mr Burt told ninemsn.

Mr Burt said many people had stopped to watch the burning car produce a few "spectacular explosions", but it was not enough to stop traffic on the busy highway.

"Initially I thought it was quite exciting — it's not every day you see a car blow up," he said.

"Everyone thought someone was dead. She was pretty lucky. I told her she should go buy a lottery ticket."

Police said the car was insured.

What a stupid tool, how can you not realise there is a mattress jammed between the front wheelarch and the engine bay??

SBU* rulz!

*Stupid Blonds United

Sometimes I think some people would be better off ... not even born ever. But I guess that's how the natural selection works: stupid people being there for clever people to use / abuse them. Just like a deer for a wolf.

Yet these days it's kind a reverse situation: the world celebrating stupidity, and many stupid people live better then they deserve. Eg. those two blonds should have used public transport - instead being even able to own / drive a car.

Note: please take this comment above with a grain of salt.
