Speaking of he CGT it's not a car for the poseur, it's a car you can get into trouble with very easily, especially if you apply to much power at once. I've seen countless of images of CGTs wrecked due to the driver wanting to test the deep waters.
He's just very unlucky if you ask me.
This is only hot news for the media.. Poor car and poor father..
I would probably have done the same..

This car is raw - don't try to be a hero!

Finders keepers! I would love to have done the same. The CGT as lighter than a Mazda MX5 piloted by Nicole Richie, so I would have opened the glass slide doors to the living room and rolled the car into the house.

More like lucky that he get to drive such a car. Driving a CGT without getting into trouble requires respect, a lot of respect and secondly skills. It's a very tricky car to do tricks in and those involved in "accidents" are drivers who perceive the car to be of ordinary flavor. Like it has been stated he was showing off to bystanders and ended up turning the CGT into a 612hp lawnmower

Oh he's very lucky !
and what you are saying about the CGT is also true, many drivers has proven the fact that the CGT is a masterpice
but that also need a master behind the wheel IF you want go near the limit or simply just give some throttle...

I adore the CGT it's so elegant yet so brutal and such a car design (!!!)...
just needed to say it!

Talking Re: Hamilton's father crashes a CGT into a playground

Hamilton laughs off father's Porsche crash

Lewis Hamilton on Thursday laughed off his father's crash at the wheel of a $600,000 sports car.

On Wednesday, Anthony Hamilton - who is also the 23-year-old McLaren driver's manager - crashed a borrowed Porsche Carrera GT through a hedge and into a children's playground near his UK home.

"I got Dad's email yesterday and I just laughed,"
Hamilton was quoted as saying from the scene of the Canadian Grand Prix by The Sun.

"He is a very good driver but I don't know what he was up to,"
the championship leader added.

To The Mirror, Lewis also said: "My dad's my manager and loves cars. But, whenever we go somewhere, I'd always rather go by train."
