It'sdefinitely not bad-looking. Pretty good design. Of course, lots of Benz inspiration, especially the front and in particular the grille or headlights...the windscreen/roof relationship too...

The V8 is "produced" in South-Corea, so it still is a MB V8 produced there, or is it a Corean V8?

Anyway, waiting for the equipemts, interior, build quality, finition, and how it drives.

Easily. I applaud Ssangyong for creating their first truly beautiful car and an immediate class leader at that too. Incredible how they can just come into the game late and immediately outclass everything the competition throws at it. Simply incredible. The Germans have been in this game for over 100 years and the little unknown Ssangyong company just bankrupts them overnight! Incredible!

Anyone else feel this car should get the Best Saloon Car of the 21st Century award? I do.

I swear, put an S-Class next to this thing and it's apparent how poorly designed and engineered the S-Class is. Even the Lexus LS cannot touch this masterpiece of Korean engineering. Bottom line: Ssangyong Chairman > Lexus LS / MB S-Class etc.
