The XBOX 360 has better games and the Xbox Live is a blast.

take it from one who has been on both..
the PS3 is superior..even now when the games suck..
let me explain.. a person not understanding the diffrence between the PS3 and 360 is about the same as those ppl that claim that VW´s and AUdi´s are the same

ohh and about the games..ile be getting Fall Of Men fist thing in the morning..im a die hard shooter.. but im gonna trade it away for F1...i dont like it..

Games im waiting for: Devil May Cry, Assasins Creed, MGS4,GTAIV,GT4 and some baller ass soccer games...

X-box live is fun but it's not $50 a year more fun than the Free playsation service.

In my eyes, the 360 doesn't have better games. Most of the games are available on both systems now except a few exclusives like Lost planet, Dead rising and such. But the games that PS3 has out right now are more fun than the 360. There is no game like motorstorm or F1 on any other system. Motorstorm is way more fun than almost any other game out...of course that's just my opinion.

Don't forget that the 360 controllers are much more comfortable to use, especially for FPS games. Futher more them offer force feed back which the PS3 doesn't.

I downloaded the GT-HD free yesterday.. mm... Chill game - best with a 50" HD-TV

But Motorstorm is killing me, stupid game...
I'll wait for more games to come out, but keep in mind guys. you can buy games (I Norway) over the net, price 100 (kr) in stores 650 (kr)

Interesting discussion because after my exams this summer I am going to buy a console. This will be my first console, because I have always used my PC to play games, but the last game I bought didn't work too well and the online gaming was awful because it was a driving game and the game kept juddering, meaning it was impossible to race other people.

I'm thinking the xbox 360 at the moment because it's much cheaper, and from what I've heard has better online gaming which is how I play most of my games. So you guys who think the PS3, give me reasons why I should spend so much more money for a PS3, and those who like the 360, tell me why I should get that. I don't like the Wii because I like racing games mostly, and the racing games on there don't seem to be that good!
