Hamann Gallardo. - 12-05-2005, 02:17 AM

“I like this Gallardo drive better than what we’ve done with the Ferrari F430,” admits a Hamann spokesperson. “Power delivery and road-holding are tremendous at high lateral gs and even higher revs. And the look is pure supercar.”

Genetic engineering: Hamann Lamborghini Gallardo
</IMG>

The fact that at a durchgestylten sports car like the Lamborghini Gallardo can being still filed here and there shows us in this week Hamann engine haven. To the youngest bull this time no "wings" were lent - only one prangt at the tail - but expressed those Swabia its engine-sporty genes.

The styling and aerodynamics program covers a modified front spoiler including an adjustable front spoiler lip, screens for the lateral air intakes as well as broad Seitenschweller. The three-part tail wing provides for a increased contact pressure on the rear axle, which by a Hamann Heckdiffusor again one strengthens. Alternatively to the three-part tail spoiler those offer also an adjustable version to Swabia.

By means of particularly developed catalysts and two double tube final mufflers with 76 the 500-PS-Serienzehnzylinder is to carry millimeters out of diameters further 28 HP and to place a torque from altogether 560 Nm to the order. Whom the original final pipes please better, this can use with an adapter at the new final muffler further.

The engine haven package is rounded off by multipart light alloy wheels in the formats 9 x 19 tariff (235/35 ZR19) in front and 12 x 19 tariff (295/30 ZR19) in the back or as 20-tariff variant in the dimensions 8.5 x 20 tariff (235/30 ZR20) as well as 11.5 x 20 tariff (305/25 ZR20). In the program the model "edition Race" is new, which measures 8.5 x 20 with 235/30 ZR20 tyre and at the rear axle 11.25 x 20 with 305/25 ZR20 tyre on the front axle.

I think it is the best Gallardo I have ever seen - and I don't even mind those rims so much.

Wow! The colour, the kit plus the quad exhaust looks very nice! The best I've seen. Am I the only one who actually likes those rims? Low profile, multi-spoke, three-piece rims are THE sportiest rims you can imagine. Good job Hamann.
