People do still buy the G, but many buyers are not the market for which it was originally intended. - DCX say in their press release, that the popularity of the G class today lies mostly in it's appearance - I'm sorry but this goes against everything Mercedes is supposed to stand for - I guess I'm just too much of a traditional Mercedes Fan.

I just want to make it perfectly clear to all of you, that I also love the G class
My opinions are based purely on what I feel are the true values of the Mercedes brand.

I had this Brabus version on my desktop for a while.

I'm suprised to find out that many of you have got a beef with the G-wagon. It might not be the most modern looking car but it does look quite good and sells well so let it live.

I apologize to anyone who has been personally offended by any of my previous posts in this thread. I have edited some of my comments because upon reviewing them, I thought perhaps I could have been more civil in the way I expressed my opinions.

They still sell, and i see them daily at least a couple a day which is alot for such a rare truck, i even have a black used one on my lot. Everyone who comes in for a truck always says one day they will get it! Therefore i feel many like the image and that its a Mercedes-Benz.
