Haha, as long as the news get posted . Seems there is speculation from other Formula 1 message boards, that it was done behind Mercedes Benz's back, since they had already expressed interest in buying out McLaren completely.

Might cause a stir in the future of McLaren. If it was indeed done behind Mercedes Benz's back, they won't be very happy, might pull out of McLaren, and invest in another team/Create their own team? Although unlikely, since they still own a 40% share of the company.
