| Re: Kimi or Alonso ?! Had to go with Alonso. I'm not a fan of records set based on age so I won't quote them. Alonso won 2-WDC with Schumi racing. Of course, the 2005 Ferrari was a pram. I still think Alonso will win next year and have a chance to threaten Schumi's records. I think Kimi is overrated and hates testing. |

I don't think Kimi is overrated or in any way slower than Alonso. What separetes them IMO, is, that Alonso is a more complete package, fast_&_consistent driver, test driver (that's how he arrived at Renault) and someone who works with the team on the car (and ofcourse cries in the press if things didn't work quite well). In 2002 and 2003 Renault were nowhere near McLaren, and before Alonso, in 2001 the team had barely secured the 7th place at just 1 point ahead of Jaguar. Succes didn't come wasn't easy or instantaniously, so that's why I belive in 2007 Kimi/Ferrari should win. | |
