![]() | Malaysian GP 2006 predictions? I'm just wondering who you guys are predicting will win the race. I can't really decide right now, but I think if Kimi Raikkonen gets a good grid position and doesn't have any reliability issues, he could win. Obviously Fernando Alonso and Michael Schumacher are the other two top drivers favored by most along with Raikkonen, possibly along with the Honda pilots. Mark Webber will probably come home with a good result in the Williams car as well; remember in 2004 he got P2 in qualifying between the two Ferraris in a Jaguar no less, so it's a good track for him. ![]() ![]() | Re: Malaysian GP 2006 predictions? If Kimi doesn't have another explosion of Mclaren bad luck, he'll win in a romp. I don't know why Ferrari is so optimistic this year. They tested miles and miles more in Bahrain so of course they'd be competitive, especially after last year's disaster. Though I think Alonso won because he had the world champs' advantage of selecting the pit garage to minimize entry and exit time, I don't think Ferrari is as strong as in years past. If Ferrari start 0 for 3 after near misses in Sepang and Melbourne as well, they'll go into a spin although the crazy points system (8 points for 2nd) will still keep them in it... Is KR going to Ferrari next? I read about Schu signing another extension with the Scuderia. I honestly think it's time for Schu to go. If he wins another WDC this year, why not go out on top? I think in an equal car, Kimi will hand Schu's arse to him. There's no point in having your teammate retire you. At least Prost ended with a WDC and did not return. I hope Schu doesn't become one of those superstar athletes who hung around too long and ends up being carried out of the sport. Last edited by 450SEL6.9; 03-14-2006 at 11:32 AM. |
