Final sprint to Bahrain

Swwwweeeeeett! Damn Winter testing was so looonng.

This season looks to be shaping up to be one of the greatest in a decade. As it looks now it seems there will be four teams that will be battling at the front including Ferrari, BAR, Mclaren, and title defenders Renault.

Ferrari seem very confident that their new aero package will show the 248s true colors. BAR seem to have the most reliable car while being impressively quick. Mclaren have greatly improved over the testing season and have the advantage of an improved chassis that was 2005s greatest. And Renault is a shoe in being title defenders and all.

So who's it going to be this year, who do you want to see win the championship? Who do you think will claim the opening 2006 Bahrain GP and set the standard for all other teams and drivers?

Re: Final sprint to Bahrain

I'm with the Artist...I'm rooting for McLaren as always. I don't know if Kimi has the first race but this year McLaren has exactly what they had last year and also what they didn't have. Once again McLaren has a fast ass car and looks like they have solved the reliability problem. But Honda does seem to look crazy fast and reliable this year, they smashed kimi's fastest lap record for valencia on their last day, and thats definitly worth looking into. I know renault is reliable and fast thats y they won last year...Alonso is nowhere near as good as kimi and hopefully this year when they both have reliable and fast cars we'll see how good kimi really is. As for ferrari, I'm not even worried. I know they'll put up a fight but they're nowhere near as fast as honda, mclaren and renault.

Go KIMI!!!

Re: Final sprint to Bahrain

I'm hoping for schumi to whipe the smugness of Alonso's big cartoonlike face and to replace it by his own. Ferrari is THE team to be up there and as he is approaching his last year, I think h'll try everything to get one more title. Go ferrari
