As for the race, I deem Singapore the most boring race on the calender. Just like last year the entertainment came from teams making mistakes rather than cars getting overtaken on the circuit. The overtaking possibilities are outright laughable. Nowhere on the circuit is it possible to smoothly overtake another car without taking a major risk. It's even worse than Valencia.
Thankfully Suzuka is coming up next week and I very much look forward to it though I expect some impressive dominance by the KERS cars given the long straight and fast sweeping corner that come up right after the starting line. If Kimi or Hamilton get out in the front, they will easily dominate the race. |
Sorry for digging up this thread but Luw I think you're right about the boring track. Judging from the response of this thread as well as ticket sales, it hasn't been bright from here.
Hope it'll at least complete the 5 years contract.
