Mmm it's pretty must set in stone that Alonso will be wearing a red suit next season. I'm currently pondering whether the Kimi/Mclaren rumour is speculation without grounds or if Kimi has any interest in a post-Ferrari F1 career. That will off course depend on Mclaren's success in signing Rosberg who is fancied by Brawn as well.

Rosberg is set for Brawn, because that's what Mercedes wants, Kubica will go to Renault and obviously Kimi still wants to be in F1 giving how much he fought for his contract and he still isn't ready for WRC, so the best place for him would be Macca, despite what happened a lot of people miss him there.

Sutil reprimanded over Heidfeld crash

Adrian Sutil was reprimanded and fined by the Singapore Grand Prix stewards after his crash with Nick Heidfeld.
The two Germans made contact on lap 20 of the race when Sutil spun and tried to rejoin the race without stopping his car as Heidfeld was taking the corner.
Heidfeld crashed into the Force India and was forced to retire.
The stewards deemed Sutil had performed a dangerous move and reprimanded him and fined him $20,000.
Sutil was also forced to retire four laps later.

Ferrari set to confirm Alonso for 2010

Ferrari could announce its 2010 deal with Fernando Alonso as early as next weekend's Japanese Grand Prix, with the Spaniard's move to the Maranello team now all but confirmed.
With lawyers working hard on the last few details of Kimi Raikkonen's release from his contract with Ferrari, a move that will pave the way for the Finn to return to McLaren, the Maranello-based outfit has openly admitted that it wants to announce its line-up as quickly as possible.
Ferrari team principal Stefano Domenicali said at Singapore on Sunday night: "I think that as soon as we are ready we will let you know. We don't want to wait too long."
When asked by AUTOSPORT if that announcement could come as early as Suzuka, Domenicali said: "It is a possibility, but it is not guaranteed."
Neither Ferrari nor Renault are now denying that Alonso is on his way to the Italian outfit, in a deal that has been widely predicted for several months.
Renault's stand-in managing director Jean-Francois Caubet told AUTOSPORT after the Singapore Grand Prix that his outfit would be sad to see Alonso leave after this season.
"I think Fernando will miss Renault and Renault will miss Fernando," he explained.
Once the Ferrari-Alonso announcement is made, Renault is expected to confirm that Polish driver Robert Kubica will lead its team in 2010.

As for the race, I deem Singapore the most boring race on the calender. Just like last year the entertainment came from teams making mistakes rather than cars getting overtaken on the circuit. The overtaking possibilities are outright laughable. Nowhere on the circuit is it possible to smoothly overtake another car without taking a major risk. It's even worse than Valencia.

Thankfully Suzuka is coming up next week and I very much look forward to it though I expect some impressive dominance by the KERS cars given the long straight and fast sweeping corner that come up right after the starting line. If Kimi or Hamilton get out in the front, they will easily dominate the race.
I tend to disagree. It's no secret that Hamilton is much more talented driver than HK, but it's also no secret Mclaren fuels him up heavier, and often starts with the harder tyres. If he's smart, he'd leave Mclaren at the end of the season, even if they want to keep him. Everyone knows the favouritism of the golden boy. One of the reasons Keke didn't let his son drive for Mclaren last season. He knew it won't be on equal status. Latest rumour is Kimi will be headin to Mclaren next season. Lets see how it goes.

I doubt Ice will take a massive pay cut and head to Brawn, unless Mercedes will be willing to pay him or something. It's either retirement or Mclaren next season for Kimi. I really hope Fred makes it to Ferrari.

LOL, who knows. If Renault is desperate enough, which they are, they might hire him.
