+1 Toyota was generally outpaced yesterday, and Williams's highest finish was 6th, IIRC. Brawn just started designing the cars early, together with the powerful Merc engines, thats just a perfect blend.

Isn't Jenson the same? He's brilliant in the wet, Schumacher-like smoothness in driving, and great in a good equipment. Ross issued a statement last 2 weeks, and he said he couldn't believe how good Jenson really is, and regrets why he didn't try to sign him during his Ferrari times. I rather take his word and judgement over yours. ![]()

They are now the Ferrari of pre-1996 defined by the "spaghetti culture". My Italians friends should forgive me- but I can't help but be completely disgusted with the mismanagement and carelessness. The mistakes started in 2007, and it is only going to get worse.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | After these 4 races, I am very curious about the lack of pace from Williams and BMW. Both of them said very early on in 08 that they were focusing on the development of the 09 car. The Williams car looked much better developed than the BMW, with the double diffuser and the under nose air splitter, however the team is the slowest out of the diffuser 3, and even though it shows promising pace at practice, they just fall backwards during the race, and were overtaken by RB, Mclaren and Ferrari. I suspect their problem is to do with getting the tyres to work with the car. BMW, on the other hand, is a disgrace. Ignore Heidfeld's lucky 2nd in Malaysia, their cars were way off the pace. The team has the most advanced computer, state of the art wind tunnel, plus a long development period for the 09 car. They were also the 1st to run a 09 spec car. However, the cars look aerodynamically under developed, and is extremely slow. Maybe they put too much emphasis on KERS during the development stage, and became confident in relying on their superior KERS system to make the difference in a race.

Ramen, i agree. But then, for me, as much as i hate to admit it, Fred is the best out there. He beat the likes of MS, and Kimi twice to be WDC. Thats not fluke. Personally, i hate his whiny bitchy attitude. I hate it when he starts making critics about the team publicily when they're not fast enough, etc. But then, given the current state of my beloved Scuderia, i'm willing to welcome Fred with open arms. If Kimi does another 2008 performance, i really hope to see Fred there in Ferrari next year. He'll definitely do the stuff i mentioned earlier, but he's has the passion and motivation to win. Vettel, i would like to see him in a Ferrari in 2010.

True, Williams and BMW started designing the car early, but with just Friday practise sessions available to the drivers to test out new parts of the car, i seriously think thats a factor to consider. Regarding Williams, they have one of the most inexperienced driver lineup, hence the lack of development. Brawn have the old horse Rubinho, as well as Jenson's experience. And Toyota have Trulli.
