Its a normal thing, a new MB or a facelift always causes doubt at first. For some reason it is hard to accept change on MB's better cars, but in the end it is almost always a vast improvement. The SL facelift is no different.

I can put my hand on my heart and say that I've fully embraced the facelifted SL as a family member. At first sight I was disappointed but now I love it. The pace car is nothing but awesomeness. When ever it stepped on to the track it showed everybody who's boss. Very authoritative and commanding design.
It looked best when it was tailed by Hamilton, makes me feel proud to be an MB fan.

I've felt the same, mostly because the old SL was such a classic... with Hollywood. But deep inside, I knew I preferred this car from the get-go. Seeing this car live on the track made me a total believer. Gone with the CL63... hello SL63
