On an O/T note, I've REALLY started falling in love with the current SL design, funny as it seems I like it more now than ever, I think I'm just really longing for those beautiful, smooth and clean M-B designs of the early-late mid 2000's. Anyone know what MY this SL body runs until?

Hey guys i was at a Mercedes Dealer here in SA on tuesday and while i was their they were doing delivery off two NEW E class Cars one was a WHITE ELEGANCE and the other a LIGHT BLUEISH colour not a colour i really liked also elegance.

Well Firstly the one owner buying a e350cdi and the second was a e300 petrol.

they both had tradeinns the one was a w211 e500 for the diesel and the other had a 3 series BMW on the petrol E300.

I was free and the sales man knows me becuase whenever i am in Johannesburg and free the dealership is my hang out lol..

Anyway i spoke to both the owners and the one who traded in the E w211 i asked him what he thaught and why the new E as his was A 08 model with only 15000kms..

He said he loved the new design and fouund it bold and creative and he said the interior was his favorite even over tthe S calss..i dont agree with the last part..

He said he infact felt the w211 was becoming bit boring and he really loves the design and road MB has taken with the new C and NEW E..

He was very very happy taking delivery he has already driven the new E on a trip off 2 thousand kilometers with a friend off his and he said w212 is way way way ahead of the w211 in his view in every department and a special mention off comfort and agility at the same time and the spaciousness off the E.

The other owner i asked straight why from BMW to MB why why why..

Well he said he was in the market and his friend had purchased a NEW car so he infact liked the C and decided to see what deal he could get on his 3er which he also liked and was happy with the car..

When he came to the dealership he said he saw the new e and his words were he was blown away when he saw it..

well i asked him what he liked he said he loved the rear and interior and he didnt have any problems with the BMW but he said he felt the NEW c was superior to the 3er to him so he went for the MErcedes and he says he loves the new E..

GUYS just a report on two new E owners here in SA...
