Have Mercedes made a mistake putting those images out? just like VW made the mistake of sending everyone a catalog of the Golf Plus

because we havent seen anymore pictures so far, only two little pictures

Why does Mercedes present this pictures on the homepage? the same thing happened with the sl and cls facelift... they showed in at the mb homepage...

To get people interested most likely. And to possibly test consumer or public reaction. I bet they're having their market research guys going all over Internet automotive forums checking out responses etc.

Just remembering the time when I posted pictures of Chris Bangle's house on the C&D Forums and the next day BMW Security Services emailed me and ordered me to take them down.

If that's the case it's interesting they have hidden the pictures of the W212 in a place where most visitors won't find them. They are featured in a background flash slide-show (W204, W221 & vintage MBs also featured) in conjunction of an article called "Von A bis S: die neuen Typbezeichnungen". There is no mention of the W212 in the whole article.
