Anyone has good videos of W124 crash-tested? There are a coupe on Youtube but anyone has the full works? Front angle crash, side impact crash, rear corner, rear full on, roll over, ditching etc etc

I don't know of any, but I always feel weird watching crash tests of the 190E. At least I know she will do her best to protect me.

I remember the first crash, it's coming from a giant crash event organized by AMS Germany. They crashed almost every big sedan into a wall at 50 km/h. There was the Fiat Croma, Renault 25, Opel Oméga, BMW 5, Merc W124, Nissan Legend, Volvo 740 and co.

They found out that the driver would've been killed in all but 3 cars: the Merc, Volvo and Beemer.
In the Volvo, the driver would loose use of his legs for the rest of its life: the car is too rigid.
In the Beemer and in the Merc, the driver would barely have a headache.
In all the other cars, he would be dead...

The Merc was declared safest car of the bunch. And this particular one didn't had the airbag, who would have eliminate the headache...
