We'll you clearly can't contruct meaning from my posts. I mention the quality looks first class. Next you attack me for questioning the quality of a pre production car.

The 7er comment was based on the fact that why aren't allowed to comment on a pre-production car? Was it banned? You're attack was unfound and unjust. If you can't acept my opinion thats fine.

AND let me just add: i DONT care what you think of the E's (or any other car for that matter) quality. It IS afterall your personal opinion. I cant be bothered with the mess that goes on aroung here. And reading your earlier posts, i wish i could say the same about you

See, what I say is the iDrive looks more elegant compared to the COMMAND. Elegance is not a subject matter in reference to quality. This is all from the design point of view. I will never question Mercedes Benz quality.

I prefer the new COMAND of the E-Class, with clear and simple lines (zen-like would say EnI...) to the busy button-loaded iDrive 2.0. There are too many buttons sitting on each other in the iDrive, it's not very clear, whereas this here is easy to understand and surely to use too.

As far as the looks are concerned, I think we should wait to see how it integrates in the whole interior. I agree that the plastic area is a bit big, and not glossy or anything, but it doesn't bother me.

What bothers me is that huge GPS-cover...I don't really like these big things... Quite heavy-looking, even if it's better integrated than in the S-Class because it's noticeably smaller than the dials-cover this time.

I'm ure Mercedes will offer (hopefully) a alu trim like in Audis MMi system
