seriously .. the shape is clear even with those tapes ... those tapes are not covering the parts I am interested in ..

I said this when 7 series was at the same stage .. that I was one of those who were dissappinted that BMW didn't make the 7 series as exciting as the CS concept .. few tapes here and there didn't change my mind ...

This is the same .. the car will look beautiful ... but not exciting enough for a Tier 1 car manufacturer ..

Raoul: I accept the fact that MB didn't set any new trend in the past with their designs but at that time they were beautiful for their age that they made other cars look poorly styled except few ... now .. with Mazda-like automakers overstyling their cars , I guess MB should start worrying about their philosophy and bring unique yet modern and classy designs on the table ..

I agree with Artist. These pics are quite off.

The whole car will be way sharper. The flanks will have a concave surface, and the characterline is much more visible, creating a different impression: above it the metal is convex, under it it is concave, giving it a very modern look.

The wheel-arch will be bit more pronounced, and won't appear "added" like here, in fact it will look quite like the OCD. So in fact, the area under the extended wheel-arch will be concave, and end in a very slight, discreet normal wheel-arch.

There won't be a normal wheel-arch, and above it the extended one, like in this pic, but a play with convex and concave surfaces (bit like Flame Surfacing, but more discreet).

The whole car will be "separated" in twi by a line in its middle, giving the whole more rigidity. The rear will be sharper, and with this separative middle-line. The lights seems OK, or may be even bigger (and then not inclined like that, but more like the CLC).

The front will have more stance. The grille will be sharper, bigger, and sit lower it seems. It will have a very pronounced 3D-shape especially at the top, making it visually distinct from the bonnet, not at all integrated like that. The bumper lines will be more pronounced, too.

This is what I see in the camoed car. A way sharper and way more modern car.
